Color advice from Behr:
Frosted Pastels- Barely-there whispers of color open up a space. Pastels aren’t for nurseries anymore. Combine them with zesty and bright modern accents. Pops of lime with Secret Blush or bright purple with Dandelion Tea.
Color advice from DIY Home Designs:
The best paint colors of 2015 are soft pastels like blue, green, purple, and peach that will reflect light and open up the room. These pale paint colors are representative of feng shui designs that bring peace and tranquility to your space. Just remember that when using a pastel color like peach, you don’t have to go overboard with it. Mix it with a splash of bright coral with white trim! Maybe even add a little bit of green to the mix!
Color advice from our own Inspiration Design Center Designer, Nancy:
To sum it up: 50 Shades of Gray! From really light shades like we find in Carrera marble, to soothing blue-grays, to the really earthy green-grays, and all the way to black. Black is a really big trend right now in kitchens and baths, probably more so on the East and West Coast than with our Midwestern crowd who think ecru is too dark on their walls! Let’s hope we don’t go back to black toilets and sinks, there are people out there who remember what a nightmare those are to keep clean. So it looks like gray is going to be around for a while!
