Step 1

INFORMATION

When you start working with Inspiration Design Center, you’ll immediately notice the difference.

You'll work with

  • Designers that know about countertops that are ready to help you choose the best countertops for you.
  • Our professional installers (not subcontractors) that will make your countertops look fantastic, adhering to our painstaking standards of quality.

Another difference is our 13,000-square foot showroom with a huge collection of natural stone and quartz in kitchen and bathroom product displays. You’ll also be able to stroll through our indoor, climate controlled slab selection center, where you can see hundreds of countertop ideas for your home. Imagine being able to actually see and feel your countertop before you buy it.

When considering the best surface for you, remember the answer is as individual as you are. Granite is the most popular natural stone countertop material because of its natural beauty and uniqueness. Quartz is one of the most durable manufactured countertops on the market and helps keep bacteria from forming due to its smooth surface.

How do you know which is right for you? It helps to know the pros and cons of each.

Pros of granite:

  • Visually appealing and unique
  • Large range of colors and patterns
  • Very hard substance that’s highly scratch and heat resistant
  • Highly stain resistant with professionally applied sealant

Cons of granite:

  • Will stain if not sealed or poorly sealed
  • Sometimes has weak spots that can chip and break off

Pros of quartz:

  • Durable and stain resistant, not absorbing liquids
  • Smooth texture keeps bacteria out
  • Huge variety of colors (over 100 options)
  • No sealing needed
  • Cons of quartz:

  • Discolors when exposed to strong sunlight
  • Chips or cracks if hit hard enough
  • Not heat tolerant

Step 2

MEASURE

No one wants to be surprised with extra charges or unforeseen problems. That’s why we take extremely accurate measurements using our laser measuring system. It scans your new countertop space, taking in curves, angles, sinks, faucets, overhangs and even the backsplash. This takes the complicated measurements that we need to make your countertops just right. While the measurement takes place, your personal consultant meets with you again to go over your thoughts and ideas.

Most companies will get you to sign a legally binding contract and collect thousands of dollars from you before they even know who you are or what your home is like. Surprise extra charges mysteriously show up, taking your hard-earned money right from your pocket. That’s not the experience you’ll have with Inspiration Design Center. Instead you’ll know the exact price before we get any money. We invest the time and resources up front to make sure you know what you’re investing in and how much. You’ll get an exact price and it won’t change.

Step 3

SOLUTIONS & DESIGN

The next step is meeting with your personal consultant in our showroom. They’ll go over your measurements and share a range of solutions for you to choose from, from the most economical to the most premium. Then, you choose what works best for you, or create your own custom solution. After that, you pick the exact slab of natural stone that will become your countertop. You can even look at faucets, tile, sinks and cabinet hardware without leaving our showroom.
